Develop a beautiful art project using repetition and rhythm with mandalas! Students will use the creative process to plan a piece of art through the use of repeated lines. The finished mandala will have movement as students see their patterns come to life.
Teach students about rhythm, variety, and radial symmetry while dividing a circle into sections using a compass and a ruler with this lesson on creating a Mandala. Students will use geometry to divide their circle and will be amazed by the beauty of hand-drawn forms in a radial pattern. My students were enthralled, and their work was truly inspired.
