Kusama Flowers Collaborative Poster: Mother's Day Art Activity

This Yayoi Kusama Tulip collaborative mural is a perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day or Earth Day, or the coming of Spring! It is also amazing in conjunction with any lesson on artist Yayoi Kusama. Students will break into 6 groups and each group will decide on a color scheme and color their 6 pieces using that scheme. This makes a bright and beautiful display when assembled.

Why students will love it: Pieces are only 6" x 6" each, small enough to color easily. They will also love the freedom of choosing their own color scheme and working together to make it look awesome!

Why teachers will love it: This resource comes already separated into 6 groups, just print the 6 groups and keep them separated by group. Students will learn about color theory and color schemes while creating a beautiful display to commemorate Mother's Day, the coming of Spring, or Earth Day.
