This traditional drawing course covers graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, oil pastel and ink and culminates in a Mixed Media project that incorporates all of those mediums. It includes Drawing Prompts for Art Journal, Sketchbook Activities, or Homework as well as a Student Choice Framework that allows students to choose their own projects that apply the skills they've learned. Worksheet packets that support learning and can be used as substitute lessons round out this package.
The drawing course covers observational drawing, contour lines, value, texture, reverse drawing, drawing on a grid, cartooning, mixed media (ink, reversal, and colored pencil), illustration, micrography ink artwork, and student choice projects.
