Created by an art teacher, this packet teaches students about the artist Lee Krasner and Abstract Expressionism. In this art history workbook, students start by reading an artist biography sheet, then watch videos of her biography and her role in abstract expressionism. Students color line art created in the style of the artist’s work using a color guide. The final project has students create thumbnails using Krasner’s work as reference and then paint a watercolor painting in the style of Lee Krasner.

Coloring sheets in the art history workbook are more than just a coloring activity, but rather help students learn about the artist's style, their color choices, shapes, and lines.
